I'm already bugging my husband to go camping again. The last morning we were there was so beautiful waking up to see the clouds hugging the mountains. We stayed two nights and I was sad to leave. There did seem to be plenty of RV sites with hook ups at Coyote Creek, and we saw people fishing, and even saw fish jumping out of the water! Overall, my first camping experience was fantastic. It is best to drive north to Angel Fire and then to Cimmaron Canyon, which is around 45 minutes away. There are no power lines over the property so I. Pepper museum, Baylor University, the Texas Ranger museum, BSR Waterpark, the Waco Mammoth National Monument (US National Park Service), and plenty of magnificent restaurants. My husband and I love to hike, but there is very little hiking in this park. Established 1996, The farm is situated just minutes from Magnolia-Silos, the Dr.
COYOTE CREEK MOVIE
Sure, the movie can be watched once, though I personally didnt get much enjoyment from writer Alexa Garsters story. Yeah, the movie was that bland and forgettable. The second program was a star gazing tour, but we did not stay for that one. 'Coyote Creek Christmas' is a type of Christmas movie that will be forgotten not even five minutes after the end credits have started. Before, or after a round of golf or anytime you need a respite come on out for just a drink, or a bite to eat while enjoying the beautiful views from our rose garden.
COYOTE CREEK UPDATE
This was an excellent first-time camping orientation for me and the ranger gave great advice about keeping a clean campground and what to do if you come across a bear or a cougar. We are thrilled about giving our restaurant and bar a fresh update and a new name 12 Mile Station. The first was about camping near bears and cougars. The vault toilet was very clean and they somehow keep it smelling very fresh! We also happened to have arrived on a good night because a park ranger from Sugarite Canyon had come to give a couple of programs. We found a beautiful site that had plenty of room and privacy, had a picnic table, fire ring, and was close to the vault toilet. The website doesn't really advertise the tent sites, but we did find them and I thought they were very nice.

They also drove by in the morning and checked on us while we were cooking breakfast. They drove around past our campsite a couple of times to make sure we were okay and comfortable, which was greatly appreciated. I was slightly nervous about camping, but the campsite hosts were very friendly and helpful.

My husband and I visited Coyote Creek State Park in August of 2016 for our wedding anniversary.
